Medical resources and the prevention of suicide and homicide : a study of the Soviet Union and the United States of America.
Data from the republics of the former Soviet Union and from the USA did not provide support for the hypothesis that good medical resources would be associated with lower suicide and murder rates in the different regions of a nation.
