The current study was conducted during January 1993 to assess the present situation regarding continuing medical educatin (CME) among primary health care (PHC) physicians.
Confidential questionnaires were received from 289 randomly selected PHC physicians in the Riyadh region.
The questionnaires contained queries about sociodemographic data, attitude and practice, expectations and needs and available CME facilities.
Different scores were allocated for various methods of CME.
The participants'attendance of CME activities was varied.
