To compare vocational interests of clinical laboratory technician (CLT) students with those of practitioners and clinical laboratory science students, and to compare vocational interests of three groups of students who differed by program outcome: graduates, voluntary withdrawals, and dismissals.
Community colleges located throughout the United States.
CLT students in 19 associate degree programs during a two-year period.
Collection of data from American College Testing (ACT) Assessment Program interest inventory.
