  1. Parricide rates and criminal street violence in the United States: is there a correlation?

    An analysis of secondary data revealed that parricide rates from 1977 to 1988 in the United States correlated negatively with the rates for violent crime, supporting Megargee's hypothesis that factors affecting violent street crimes do not similarly affect intrafamilial violence.
