    Five previous outbreaks of disseminated candidosis due to Candida albicans are reviewed and a new outbreak on a neonatal unit in Belfast presented.

    This involved four disseminated cases.

    The control and definition of outbreaks by morpho-, immunoblot- and DNA-typing is discussed.

    An outbreak of Torulopsis glabrata infection involving 23 patients is described.
