Traduction en anglais : Recent developments in occupational activities and their implications for preventive health care.
The introduction of new technologies has made partly severe inroads into conventional types of work and has substantially changed the working tools and their handling, involving new forms of stress and demands made on the operators.
The ultimate effects of these developments are largely hidden from sight and pose new theoretical and practical problems in occupational medicine.
This report deals with these problems and describes on the basis of several examples how the officers who are responsible for occupational safety and industrial health try to cope with changed circumstances and demands.
