  1. Hepatitis C virus : evidence for sexual transmission.

    Article - En anglais

We report here an investigation into the prevalence of this reactivity to C100 antigen in 1046 patients attending a genitourinary medicine clinic.

Supplementary testing with a recombinant immunoblot assay and an assay for the hepatitis C virus genome was used in the analysis of those serum samples found to be reactive.

The results indicated that hepatitis C virus is likely to be sexually transmitted.
