  1. Secular trends in serum cholesterol, high density lipoproteins and triglycerides 1964-1987.

    Article - En anglais

The aim of this study is to monitor any trends over a period of 23 years through measurement of the distribution of serum lipids.

The study population consists of 30-, 40-, 50-, and 60-year-old men and women from a suburban area in Denmark in which serum lipids have been determined by comparable methods on four different occasions.

Attention is paid to the influence of freezing of serum before analysis of total serum cholesterol, high density lipoprotein (HDL), and triglycerides.
