    FORA RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY, BOSTON'S CHINATOWN HAS AN EXTRA-ordinarily large amount of vehicular traffic.

    Congested streets are packed with traffic day and night, seven days a week.

    In what follows, we describe how a community-university collaboration brought public health and safety into the local transportation policy-making process by supplementing traditional « level of service » and vehicle volume analyses with injury data.
