Related information sources have been integrated, e.g. in Medline, fulltext journals and drug information.

All applications are hardware-independent with the same user interface, and all use client-server technology.

Everybody is ensured the most recent information via a central update.

Evaluation is performed by peer review and student feedback.

The concept is transferable to other medical subjects and can facilitate high-quality teaching materials for medical students and doctors at affordable cost.
