  1. Yin and yang : can they promote environmental health to benefit patients ? The spiritual and pastoral dimensions of interprofessional care.

    Article - En anglais

In Chinese philosophy, a person is said to be in good health because his/her yin and yang energies are in harmony within the person and with his/her environment.

This concept can also be applied to the caring processes.

Health professionals can manage the environment with a degree of certainty to assist themselves and their patients/clients achieve a state of harmony within themselves and with the environment.

This is particularly relevant at a time of growing complexity in health and welfare services, specialisation and blurring of the professional boundaries.
