  1. Fluoride distribution and fluorosis in some villages of Banswara District of Rajasthan.

    A total of 467 domestic water sources (240 handpumps, 204 openwells and 23 perennial surface waters) of 14 villages of Bagidora, 15 of Anandpuri, 29 of Talwara, 37 of Garhi, and 49 of Ghatol Panchayat Samiti of Banswara District of Rajasthan have been investigated for the evidence of fluoride content.

    Except a few, most of the water sources of these Panchayat Samitis showed the presence of fluoride in the range of 0.1 to 5.5 mg/L. Simultaneously, prevalence of dental and skeletal fluorosis in villagers and their domestic animals in 13 villages has also been observed.
