  1. Thyroid cancer and the Chernobyl accident : Health effects of low dose radiation.

    Following the Chernobyl accident of April 1986, there has been a continual increase in the numbers ofreported cases ofchildhood thyroid carcinoma.

    An EC-supported consortium to study the pathology and molecular biology of the thyroid cancers is being coordinated from the University of Cambridge.

    This paper reports the findings of this study so far, together with its recommendations for further studies.
