Collaboration between research professional and consumer.
Working Conference on the State of the Science in Autism. Bethesda MD (USA), 1995/04/10.
In this issue we review National Institute of Health (NIH) research priorities for the study of autism from the past and for the future.
Since it was material presented to the Autism Society of America's Annual Conference in July 1995, it seems most timely to review some of the differences in research expectations from the perspective of the consumer (parents and individuals with autism) and the professional academic or research scientist.
