  1. Hospital computing technology versus people.

    Article - En anglais

This paper discusses the 24 months experiences in an NHS Trust Hospital of an engineer who abandoned pure engineering to become computer systems professional.

Skills and experience acquired by the engineer during 11 years in the industrial sectors working on medium-to-large control systems are translated into creating practical and realistic solutions to everyday IT problems encountered in a busy hospital department.

This is not a particularly technical solution, but it involves people.
