Traduction en anglais : Experimental determinations of the noise risk caused by the use of machines in the food plants.
The Authors report the results of a research on the work conditions of agroindustrial plant employees, with particular regard to noise pollution.
After several years from a first research and, above all, at five years from the coming operative the Legislative Decree 277/91, nothing seems to be changed : noise levels inside processing industries are still so high to make considerable the risk of otopathies for plant workers.
Furthermore, there is no trace of the use of health and safety personal means (such as earphones or auricolar inserts), even if some managers start to show the intention of proceeding to the acoustical reclamation of plants and rooms.
