    OSHA's Lead Exposure in Construction regulation, 29 CFR 1926.62, contains one paragraph strictly devoted to the requirements for recordkeeping in four areas.

    These four types of data concern only medical records and air lead concentration assessments.

    Thus, they represent a mere fraction of what an OSHA inspector would require to determine compliance with the lead standard.

    This month's column describes these four classes of information and the minimum content of the records.

    Future columns will further detail the records employers should maintain at headquarters, local offices, and project field sites.
